Davide Eynard is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer & Researcher at Mozilla.ai.

Before that, he worked at Twitter as an MLE, helped build early-stage startups like Fabula AI and Videocites as their first engineer, and spent time in academia as a senior researcher and lecturer at Università della Svizzera Italiana and Politecnico di Milano.

His work connects knowledge representation with large-scale multimedia retrieval, computer vision, graph learning, and federated social networks. Lately, he’s been focused on small, local, open source AI — building tools that are transparent, lightweight, and user-owned.

He is the father of projects like 3564020356.org, PicoGopher, BYOTA, and – most importantly – two amazing kids.
