Data Artist & Founder at NECESSITY.INK
Tiziana Alocci works at the crossroads of data, art, and technology. She explores city soundscapes, biometric traces, personal archives, and memory, turning them into evocative visual and sonic narratives. Often described as “behavioural cartography,” her work has been commissioned by Gucci, The National Gallery, the British Library, Google, BBC, and more, and exhibited internationally from London to Mexico City and Milan Design Week.
Teaching and knowledge-sharing are central to her practice. Since 2018, she has been an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Arts London and a guest lecturer worldwide. She is also a frequent conference speaker, with a TEDx talk on sound and memory, and co-founder of Market Café Magazine, the first independent publication on data visualisation.
If data is incomplete, can design and art reveal the gaps – and turn them into meaning? Join Tiziana on November 27-29 to explore.
