Founder at Safety by Design Lab

Tomomi Tanaka is the founder of Safety by Design Lab and an adjunct professor at Kindai University. She has held significant leadership and academic roles, including Assistant Professor at Arizona State University, Senior Economist at the World Bank, and director-level positions at Uber and Match Group.

Tomomi developed and launched Safety by Design programs across more than 20 mobile apps. As a recognized AI expert, she has delivered keynotes on Safety by Design at the United Nations Headquarters and the UN Asia Regional Symposium, and has led workshops on Safety by Design at the UN Headquarters.
