Apply to speak yourself — tell us about an idea, project, experience or skill you’d like to share with the DataFest Tbilisi community.
Nominate someone else — know someone doing interesting work, asking important questions or bringing a perspective that deserves a DataFest stage? Tell us about them and why you think we should invite them.
For our 10th edition, we’re looking in three directions:
PAST — What have we learned?
What changed over the last decade? Which ideas, technologies, successes and failures taught us something worth carrying forward?
PRESENT — Where are we now?
What are you building, researching, questioning or experimenting with today? Which tools, applications, challenges and debates deserve our attention right now?
FUTURE — What comes next?
What should we be preparing for? Which emerging ideas excite or concern you? And what kind of technological future should we be trying to create?
We welcome ideas across four programme tracks:
Society — human rights, surveillance and privacy, ethical AI, media, gender, and the broader relationship between technology and society.
Business & Startups — practical applications of data and AI across fintech, telco and other industries, business transformation, entrepreneurship, products and startups.
Technology — new tools, frameworks, libraries, models, infrastructure and other developments for people building with data and AI.
Design, Art & Communications — data visualisation, storytelling, creative AI, artistic practices and installations, copyright, authorship and the changing relationship between technology and creative work.
We especially want to get practical.DataFest Tbilisi 2026 will put a stronger emphasis on hands-on and participatory formats. Alongside talks and panel discussions, we welcome proposals for workshops, interactive sessions and especially Labs — longer, 3–4-hour sessions where participants can actually work with a tool, technology, dataset, methodology or problem.
